Sri Mylara Lingeshwara temple, is situated about 18kms from the Yadgir district. Located, in the midst of lush greenery, this temple is visited by hundreds of devotees daily. Nestled on a hillock, the huge boulders, and caves, in the vicinity of this temple, is an ideal trekking destination, for ardent trekkers. You can find an utsava murthy of Sri Turanga Balamma, inside a cave. To reach this temple of the main deity, you need to climb a lot of steps to have the darshan of Lord Mylara Lingeshwara. This temple is inside a cave. 

 

This shrine is an ancient pilgrim place and is supposedly built, hundreds of years back. Apart from the main deity, as well as the Utava Murthy, there is a small Hanuman. A few meters further, you can find a temple of Lord Tuppada Mallaiah. It is believed, devotees who seek divine favor from this God, light the lamp with oil, butter, and ghee, climbing this craggy hillock. There is a lake, present in this temple, and In another cave, you can also have a darshan, of Goddess Gangee Malamma Devi.

 

According to the local people of Yadgir, the specialty of this place is that the people of this district do not own a bed, or sleep on a bed ever. Also, no one will rear a hen in this place.
