Sri Mylara Lingeshwara temple, is situated about 18kms from the Yadgir district. Located, in the midst of lush greenery, this temple is visited by hundreds of devotees daily. Nestled on a hillock, the huge boulders, and caves, in the vicinity of this temple, is an ideal trekking destination, for ardent trekkers. You can find an utsava murthy of Sri Turanga Balamma, inside a cave. To reach this temple of the main deity, you need to climb a lot of steps to have the darshan of Lord Mylara Lingeshwara. This shrine is an ancient pilgrim place and is supposedly built, hundreds of years back. Apart from the main deity, as well as the Utava Murthy, there is a small Hanuman. A few meters further, you can find a temple of Lord Tuppada Mallaiah. It is believed, devotees who seek divine favor from this God, light the lamp with oil, butter, and ghee, climbing this craggy hillock. According to the local people of Yadgir, the specialty of this place is that the people of this district do not own a bed, or sleep on a bed ever. Also, no one will rear a hen in this place.
