When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Work from home is trending right now, and has become an integral part of life nowadays. This has given a great relief to many employees who were commuting every day to save their time and energy. Lockdown period gave an opportunity for the people to utilize themselves in many productive works like improving their health, learning new languages/coding, completing different short-term professional courses, and most of all taking care of their loved ones.

Whenever a person works from home, he/she chooses one of the best corners of the house where there is more light, less disturbance from the bustling traffic, cosy and comfortable. Adding a cup of hot coffee/tea is a total bliss while working… Now, what if the entire scenario shifts to a hill station that requires, you to work amidst the lush green foliages, picturesque mountain ranges and crystal clear sea? Isn’t it more exciting even to imagine this?

According to my cousin who heads a team in a private software company, taking the team members on an official vacation to a magnificent destination once a year, and asking them to work from there, creates more productivity in the tasks they are assigned. It surely result in the increased success rate. This is one of the great options compared to just working continuously from the monotonous office/home situations. They not only get a chance to unwind themselves, but also can work with full concentration in the tranquil environs.

A few employees who are the residents of the hill stations like Shimla, Manali or even Chikmagalur often misses their hometown. So, if they are allowed to work from their homes frequently, the assigned work gets completed days before the deadline. Here, they will be in the comforts of their residence, at the same time will be working in the midst of the beautiful nature around them. Nature is the best therapist. It can relax our mind, erase all sort of anxiety, and improves our mental health.
