Sar Pass, is a majestic trekking destination, situated at an altitude of 13,800ft. In Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. You need to reach Kasol village to begin your trek. This beauteous village follows Israeli culture and serves as a trekking base. Sar Pass, trekking trail begins amidst the spectacular forest, that continues, all along the verdant meadows, and snow-clad landscapes, pine trees, and rhododendrons flowers.

 

The major highlight of this trek is while descending Sar Pass mountain. As the mountain is steep, you need to slide down the slopes of the peak. The trek is ideal for both beginners and experienced trekkers. The Sar Pass trek also holds some of the finest campsites like Min Thach, Biskeri Thach, and Nagaru, amidst the lush green foliage. The route is genuinely enthralling, augmented by a handful of bubbling rivulets, that delights the trekkers. 

Nestled in the serene Parvati Valley of Kullu, Sar Pass offers unrivaled views of the turbulent Parvati river. The pinnacle of the Sar Pass mountain proffers a panoramic canvas of snow-capped peaks and misty mountain valleys. The best season to visit, this trek is from May to October. To reach Sar Pass, you have to reach the base camp in Kasol which is, around 28 km from, Bhuntar bus stand. Many local modes of transport and private cabs are available from Bhuntar to reach Kasol.
